FIFA World Cup 2026 Groups Announced for Record 48-Team Tournament. The group draws for the 2026 FIFA World Cup have been announced, according to which the 48 teams participating in the tournament have been divided into 12 groups.

Group C will include Brazil, Morocco, Scotland and Haiti, while Group D will include the United States, Australia, Paraguay and the qualifiers from Europe Play-off C.
Group E will include Germany, Ecuador, Ivory Coast and Curacao, while Group F will include the Netherlands, Japan, Tunisia and the team from Europe Qualifier B.
Group G will include Belgium, Iran, Egypt and New Zealand. Group H includes Spain, Saudi Arabia, Uruguay and Cape Verde.
Group I includes France, Senegal, Norway and the team from FIFA Play-off 2, while Group J includes defending champions Argentina, Austria, Algeria and Jordan.
Group K will include Portugal, Uzbekistan, Colombia and the team from FIFA Qualifier One, while Group L has England, Croatia, Panama and Ghana.
This edition of the World Cup will prove to be the biggest event in history, with 48 teams participating for the first time.
It is pertinent to mention that Iran qualified for FIFA World Cup 2026 despite political challenges.
