Pakistan, Bahrain Agree to Boost Defense Cooperation

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir was met by the Commander of the Bahrain National Guard Shaikh Mohammad Bin ISA Bin Salman Al Khalifa. In which it was agreed to increase bilateral defense cooperation.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR), the Commander of the Bahrain National Guard Shaikh Mohammad Bin ISA Bin Salman Al Khalifa met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. In which matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defense cooperation were discussed in detail.

In the meeting, both countries reiterated their commitment to further expand military cooperation between Pakistan and Bahrain.

According to the ISPR, the distinguished guest appreciated the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Army and recognized Pakistan’s role for peace and stability in the region.

On this occasion, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also expressed Pakistan’s continued support for Bahrain in every field, highlighting the long-standing brotherly relations between the two countries.

Earlier this week, the COAS Gen Asim Munir, Egyptian FM Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdellati vowed to Deepen defence and strategic ties.
