Pakistan cricket team’s young player Saim Ayub has become the world’s number one all-rounder in the ICC T20 rankings.
The ICC released the new players’ rankings on Wednesday, in which Pakistan’s Saim Ayub has snatched the first position from Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza in the T20 all-rounder category.
Sikandar Raza has now moved to second place after dropping one place in the T20 all-rounder category, while Pakistan’s Mohammad Nawaz has moved up three places to fourth and India’s Axar Patel has moved up one place to 10th.
India’s Rohit Sharma retains his first position in the ICC ODI batsmen rankings. Virat Kohli has moved up one place to fourth.

Pakistan’s Babar Azam retains his sixth position while India’s KL Rahul has moved up two places to 14th.
In the ICC ODI Batsmen Rankings, Fakhar Zaman is ranked 25th after improving one place, while South Africa’s Matthew Brees has reached 31st place after improving 17 places.
Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan retains the first position in the ICC ODI Bowlers Rankings. India’s Kuldeep Yadav is ranked sixth after improving one place.
Talking about the ICC ODI All-Rounders Rankings, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Umarzai retains the first position, while South Africa’s Marco Janssen has improved 15 places to 20th place.
It is pertinent to mention that in May 2025, Saim Ayub had suffered an injury blow during the second South Africa Test.
