NBP Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Inspiring Performance by Deaf Reach School Children. The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) marked Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with a celebration full of pride, unity, and inclusion. Held at the NBP headquarters, the event welcomed the bank’s leadership, employees, and their families. Together, they honored the spirit of independence with heartfelt enthusiasm.

The event began with the hoisting of the national flag. This was followed by the singing of the national anthem and a ceremonial cake-cutting. A highlight of the celebration was a touching performance by children from the Deaf Reach School. They performed the national anthem using sign language. As a result, the moment stood out as a powerful message of inclusivity and unity. It reminded everyone that patriotism is not limited to words. Instead, it lives in shared love for the country, in every form.

Speaking on the occasion, Rehmat Ali Hasnie, President of NBP, reflected on the day’s significance. He said Independence Day is a time to remember the courage and sacrifices of those who fought for freedom. It is also an opportunity to renew our commitment to Pakistan’s founding values—resilience, determination, and unity.
He further emphasized NBP’s ongoing efforts in national development. By expanding access to financial services, supporting entrepreneurs, and promoting sustainable growth, the bank aims to play a key role in building a better future. According to Hasnie, such efforts are vital for creating a more inclusive and prosperous Pakistan.
