Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Z Fold 7, delivering its biggest upgrade to foldables yet. This time, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is more than a routine refresh. It brings a thinner build, brighter screens, a flagship-level camera, and smarter AI features.
Design and Display
At 215g, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is 24g lighter than the last version. The stronger Armor FlexHinge and Armor Aluminum frame help reduce bulk without sacrificing strength. When folded, it measures 8.9mm thick. Open it, and it’s just 4.2mm thin. That makes it one of the slimmest foldables so far.
The main display now stretches to 8.0 inches. The cover screen has grown to 6.5 inches with a wider 21:9 aspect ratio, making it easier to use with one hand. Both screens feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X tech, an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate, and up to 2,600 nits brightness.

The Ultra-Thin Glass is now 50% thicker, boosting durability. Samsung replaced the under-display camera with a clearer 10MP punch-hole selfie camera. To keep it slim, they removed S Pen support.
For protection, the phone carries an IP48 rating. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the back. Meanwhile, Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 shields the cover screen.
Performance and Software
Inside, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite for Galaxy.” Buyers can pick 12GB or 16GB RAM with storage up to 1TB. It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for faster, smoother connections.
Out of the box, it comes with One UI 8 on Android 16. It also includes the full Galaxy AI suite. Samsung promises seven years of Android updates and security patches. Plus, buyers get six months of Google AI Pro with 2TB cloud storage.
Camera and Battery
The star upgrade is the 200MP ISOCELL HP2 main camera. It’s the same sensor seen on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It works alongside a 10MP 3x telephoto lens and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. Together, these cameras deliver flagship photos on a foldable.

The battery stays at 4,400mAh. It supports 25W wired charging, 15W wireless charging, and 4.5W reverse wireless charging.
Prices start at $2,000 for the base model. Buyers can choose from Blue Shadow, Silver Shadow, Jet Black, or an online-exclusive Mint.
In short, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 truly delivers Samsung’s biggest foldable upgrade yet.
