A Rare Blood Moon Pakistan will shine brightly on the night of September 7, 2025. The entire country will see this total lunar eclipse without any obstructions. Skywatchers in Pakistan and several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, can enjoy this stunning sight if the skies stay clear.
Majid Abu Zahra, who leads the Saudi Astronomical Society, confirmed the event’s timing. He explained that the Moon will pass through Earth’s shadow. This shadow will turn the Moon’s surface a deep red or reddish-yellow. Many people call this beautiful sight a “Blood Moon.” He said the eclipse is special for anyone who loves watching the night sky.
Rare Blood Moon Pakistan: Full Timing Details
The Pakistan Meteorological Department shared the local schedule. The eclipse starts at 8:28 PM with a faint penumbral shadow. The partial eclipse will begin at 9:27 PM. Totality will start at 10:31 PM and reach its peak at 11:12 PM. This total phase ends at 11:53 PM. The final penumbral stage will finish by 1:55 AM on September 8.
People in all parts of Pakistan can see each stage from start to finish. The Moon will appear reddish during totality because Earth’s atmosphere scatters sunlight. Only red light reaches the lunar surface, giving the Moon its unique colour.
The eclipse will also appear over Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia. Saudi Arabia will see the whole event too. The March eclipse this year did not appear in the kingdom, making this one extra special.
No telescope is needed to see the eclipse. However, binoculars or a small telescope can show more detail. Anyone can enjoy the sight with the naked eye if the weather stays clear.
Find a dark spot away from city lights for the best view. Bring family and friends to watch this rare moment together. The next chance for such a clear Rare Blood Moon Pakistan will not come soon. Mark your calendar now and get ready to look up.
