The containers, spray-painted with numbers “804,” gave these photos the touch of roughness and toughness.
Couple’s unique wedding photoshoot with containers goes viral. A couple residing in Islamabad, Pakistan turned what could have been a disappointing occasion into a unique and unforgettable wedding photoshoot.
As the federal capital is under lockdown amid the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest Khola and Qasim decided to take the best out of their photoshoots, shooting amid containers that had blocked the streets.
The couple’s photographer, The Talent Studios, published the pictures on Instagram, showing Khola in a glamorous silver gray dress and Qasim in an elegant moon gray suit.
The containers, spray-painted with numbers “804,” gave these photos the touch of roughness and toughness. As a backdrop, Junoon band’s iconic song, “Hai Jazba Junoon, Tu Himmat Na Haar,” which means, “You have passion, do not lose your hope,” serenaded the photoshoot.
These photos encapsulated the essence of the couple’s spirit and determination. One photo of Khola, standing between the numbers “8” and “4,” received particular attention from the netizens.
The clever captions of the photographer -“Pov: Its your Lifetime event & Lockdown said hi” and “When you couldn’t find any other location on your big day. Since it was all locked up”- made the pictures even charming.
Faced with the announcement of a lockdown, Khola and Qasim refused to have their photoshoot postponed. They wanted to go ahead and make their spirits shine even in the worst situations, and to make their shoot one to remember.
Bells rang when comments hit the pictures praising both the couple’s ingenious idea and the photographer’s creativity. Many labeled it the best shoot of their lifetimes, while others lauded the couple for their zinda dilli.
Others left light-hearted comments about what might be tear gas in the background. Perhaps some comments addressed the political interpretation of the graffiti on the containers.
