Vanity Number Plate scheme allows car owners to bid on unique plates through an online auction, reflecting the popularity of custom number plates as status symbols in the region. To participate in the auction, interested applicants must first register on the excise portal by providing their vehicle details, including ID Card Number, email, and contact information.
Upon registration, they will receive a One-Time Password (OTP) for verification, granting access to the E-Auction app. In the E-Auction section, participants can select their desired number plate and enter their vehicle’s chassis number.
