Under the scheme, citizens can get loans of up to Rs 15lac with the aim to facilitate the construction of 5lac homes over the next five years. The loan will be repayable over 7years, with monthly installments set at Rs14,000.
Chief Minister Nawaz noted that Chinese investors view Punjab as a promising investment destination. She also lamented previous political conflicts, arguing that they have impeded national progress. She stressed that her commitment to public service is unwavering and that continuous work is part of her duty.
Eligibility Criteria & Payment Plans
‘Apni Chhat Apna Ghar’ initiative aimed at supporting families with monthly income below Rs50,000, those living in rental properties, and individuals below the poverty threshold.
Who can apply
- Head of their household in NADRA records.
- Reside permanently in Punjab, as indicated on their CNIC.
- Own a land plot up to 5 Marlas in urban areas or up to 10 Marlas in rural areas within Punjab, Pakistan, where they plan to build their house.
- Have no serious criminal record.
- Have no outstanding debts to banks or financial institutions.
- Be registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) with a PMT score of 60 or lower.
