Pakistan’s most followed TikTok star and renowned digital influencer Jannat Mirza is in the news these days for her ramp walk, her performance is facing severe criticism on social media.
Jannat Mirza walked the ramp for renowned designer Hassan Shehryar Yasin (HSY), although she was dressed in a beautiful dress, but according to viewers, the dress did not look completely fit on her.
During the ramp walk, Jannat was seen handling the dress and feeling uncomfortable especially due to the trousers, while she also seemed a bit confused due to the deep neckline.
The lack of balance and fluidity in her ramp walk sparked a new debate on social media, with the viral video flooded with comments, where users called Jannat Mirza’s walk a sleep walk and even a horror walk.
One user sarcastically commented that now she will say that she had a fever, that is why she could not walk properly, while according to another user, it looked like a mummy was walking.
Several people opined that Jannat Mirza should limit herself to TikTok instead of ramp walks, while some users also criticized the designer as to why she chose social media personalities instead of professional models.
After the criticism on social media, Jannat Mirza also clarified the matter.
She said that I thought that the ramp walk would be an easy task and I would manage it easily, but my dress was too heavy, apart from this, there was another reason which I cannot mention here, there were many issues and things could not go as per the rehearsal.
Earlier in September 2024, Jannat Mirza, has made her debut in the Japanese fashion industry.
