Mawra Hocane’s Red Look Steals the Spotlight in UK

Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane recently shared a series of photos from her trip to the UK, and her red dress is catching everyone’s attention.

In a new Instagram carousel with 20 pictures, the Sabaat actress gave fans a glimpse of her winter wardrobe while enjoying the festive season. She captioned the post saying, “that red dress everywhere with my little red riding hood. 5 days into UK and I finally got some time to post.” The pictures show Mawra and her friend Sarah Khan having fun, eating, exploring, and enjoying the chilly Christmas nights.

Mawra wore a deep red knit dress by Hassal Official, paired with a slim black waist belt and fawn-colored boots. The photos show her at a cozy restaurant with bamboo steamers and dipping bowls, taking selfies under festive lights, posing beside Christmas decorations, and strolling through a mall decorated for the season. Her style was simple and elegant, with minimal accessories, little to no makeup, and a focus on comfort.

Mawra began her career as a television VJ and model before moving into acting. She gained early recognition in dramas such as Ik Tamanna Lahasil Si and Aahista Aahista, where she impressed audiences with her ability to play emotionally complex characters. In 2016, she made her Bollywood debut in Sanam Teri Kasam, which introduced her to a wider South Asian audience. Returning to Pakistan, she appeared in the hit film Jawani Phir Nahi Ani 2 in 2018, proving her commercial appeal.

On television, Mawra has starred in acclaimed series like Sammi, Sabaat, and Qissa Meherbano Ka, taking on challenging and diverse roles. Outside acting, she co-founded a clothing line called UxM with her sister and remains active on social media, building her presence as a modern multimedia personality.

In her personal life, Mawra married her Sabaat co-star Ameer Gillani in a private wedding in February 2025, and the couple now lives happily in Islamabad.
