Man Shoots Himself Dead on Premises of Faisal Mosque in Islamabad. A man shot himself dead in the premises of the famous Faisal Mosque in the capital Islamabad, it emerged on Thursday.
The man has been identified as Faizan Ali, a resident of Rawalpindi. Police have shifted the body to a hospital and started investigating the matter.
Police have also recovered a gun found near Faizan Ali’s body.
Earlier this month, an employee of the Utility Stores Corporation (USC) committed suicide in an area of Abbottabad after being dismissed by the government.
Reports said that the federal government has started sending letters to daily wage employees of the utility stores regarding their termination as it is taking steps to reduce the financial burden on it.

A few days ago, the government announced the layoff of all 3,000 daily wage employees.
