Clashes Erupted at Punjab Assembly During KP CM Sohail Afridi’s Visit

Tension gripped the Punjab Assembly as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi arrived at the premises, triggering a heated situation that quickly escalated into clashes and scuffles. Security personnel accompanying the chief minister and the Punjab Assembly’s security staff came face to face, creating chaos and forcing authorities to intervene to restore order.

As per the details, during the visit of the KP Chief Minister, a large number of people entered the house, due to which administrative difficulties arose, and the situation got out of control.

Severe scuffles and tension were seen between the guards on the steps of the Punjab Assembly; however, the police and the assembly security later brought the situation under control.

The incident has raised questions about the effectiveness of the security arrangements in the Punjab Assembly and possible problems during the visits of high-ranking officials of different provinces.

Officials say that more stringent security and administrative measures will be taken for such visits in the future to avoid any untoward incident.

Talking to the media in the premises of the Punjab Assembly, Sohail Afridi said that our workers are being oppressed and fascistized in Lahore. A fake government is occupying Punjab. It is only busy intimidating and threatening one party.

Chief Minister KP Sohail Afridi has that our workers were harassed at Chakri, our roads were blocked and we were stopped, the roads were opened only after resistance. Our workers in Mandi Bahauddin were also stopped; the roads were blocked. The workers were arrested, our MPs and MNAs were also harassed. Just before entering Lahore, our convoy vehicles were stopped at the interchange. No democratic government does this; this is straight up martial law.

The Chief Minister further said that since yesterday, the worst cruelty, barbarity and fascism are being demonstrated in the whole of Lahore, despite this, it is a matter of pride for me that so many workers and leadership have come out.

The fascism that the people of Punjab, the people of all of Pakistan are enduring from the regime change operation on April 9 till today is not hidden from anyone. The whole of Pakistan knows that the group imposing on Pakistan has become a cannibal. From Model Town to May 9 and November 26, the disciples and then until today, the blood of Pakistanis is not only being shed but also sucked.

Talking to the media, he said that the kind of warm welcome I am getting in Punjab is proof that Imran Khan is not a security threat but a symbol of national unity. The actions of the Chief Minister of Punjab are creating hatred in two provinces.
