Pakistan Reviews Bilateral Cooperation with Iran in Inter-Ministerial Meeting

Pakistan Reviews Bilateral Cooperation with Iran in Inter-Ministerial Meeting. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to discuss Pakistan–Iran relations and explore new avenues for economic and trade cooperation.

The meeting reviewed ongoing bilateral collaboration across multiple sectors and focused on identifying opportunities to strengthen engagement between the two countries. Senator Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to expanding ties with Iran in priority areas.

The session was attended by the Minister for Petroleum, SAPM Tariq Bajwa, Secretary Petroleum, and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant ministries.

Officials emphasized enhancing trade, energy cooperation, and economic collaboration to further solidify the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and Iran.

Earlier, DPM Dar called for inclusive regional cooperation at the Islamabad Conclave 2025.
