According to the ISPR, an intelligence-based operation was conducted on information about the presence of Indian proxy Fitna al-Khawarij. During the operation, there was a heavy exchange of fire between the security forces and the Khawarij in which 22 foreigners were killed.

The ISPR said that a clearance operation is underway to eliminate possible foreigners in the area, and the security forces are determined to eliminate foreign-sponsored terrorism.

Yesterday, three terrorists were killed in foiled attack in Peshawar. The attack on the Federal Constabulary headquarters near Saddar in Peshawar has been foiled by killing the three terrorists.

According to security sources, Fitna-ul-Khawarij carried out two suicide attacks on the FC headquarters, killing three FC personnel and injuring four others.
