PCB Announces Fresh Incentive Package for PSL Franchises. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a new and exciting incentive plan for the Pakistan Super League teams, giving the tournament a fresh boost ahead of its future editions.

It is pertinent to mention that PSL will expand in 2026 with a new April–May schedule.

Sharing the news on X, Mohsin Naqvi said he was happy about the league’s progress and wanted to encourage franchises to perform better both on and off the field. Under the new plan, the team that wins the PSL title will receive a prize of five hundred thousand dollars, while the runner up will take home three hundred thousand dollars. Another prize of two hundred thousand dollars will be awarded to the franchise that contributes the most to cricket development in the country.

Chairman PCB said that the goal is to raise the overall level of cricket in Pakistan and support those who are helping young talent grow. His message to fans and teams was simple: let us take Pakistan cricket to new heights.

This announcement comes at a time when the league is expanding quickly. Earlier, the PSL confirmed that the auction for two new teams will be held on six January twenty twenty six. It will be an important moment for the league, as the addition of two new franchises will bring more opportunities for fans, players and cities across the country.

The cities shortlisted for possible team allocation include Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Hyderabad, Sialkot, Muzaffarabad and Gilgit. Only those bidders who meet all technical requirements will be allowed to take part in the auction and choose one of these city names for their team.

With greater rewards and expansion plans moving forward, the PSL looks set for an exciting new chapter.
