Speaking at SAP’s Business Suite Innovation Day in Islamabad, Saquib praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s vision for a Digital Pakistan. He said the government’s digital agenda aligns closely with SAP’s mission of helping enterprises become intelligent, technology-driven organizations.
“Pakistan’s private sector is ready to embrace advanced platforms. SAP is committed to enabling businesses to grow sustainably through intelligent solutions,” said Saquib Ahmad.
He pointed out that major public institutions are already using SAP systems to improve efficiency and transparency. For example:
- The Ministry of Finance uses SAP in the national budget-making process.
- The Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR) manages pension disbursements through SAP.
- Pakistan Railways runs its ticketing and scheduling systems on SAP.
- The textile and power sectors are using SAP to enhance operational performance.

The event featured customer success stories and expert sessions on how SAP applications, data, and AI are reshaping Pakistan’s economy. Notable organizations like MG Motors, Aramco (GNO), and Orient Materials shared how they are leveraging SAP to improve productivity and stay competitive.
