Rain Forecast for Sindh (18th–20th July)
From the night of 18th July to 20th July, the following areas in Sindh will experience rain-wind/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls:
- Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta, Badin, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Mithi, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan
- Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Khairpur, Dadu, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Sukkur, Ghotki, Larkana, Tharparkar
Heavy Rain Predicted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (21st–25th July)
From 21st to 25th July, multiple areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) will face rain with scattered heavy to very heavy downpours, including:
- Swat, Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Malakand, Shangla, Battagram, Buner
- Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi
- Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Waziristan, Orakzai, Hangu, Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank, D.I. Khan
Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Weather Forecast
Meanwhile, rainfall is also predicted in northern regions:
- Kashmir (20th–25th July): Areas like Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, and others will receive rain with isolated heavy showers.
- Gilgit-Baltistan (21st–26th July): Rain-wind/thunderstorms expected in Diamir, Astore, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghizer, Shigar, and Ghanche.

In addition, rainfall is likely on 18th/19th & 21st–23rd July in:
- Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Lahore, Mandi Bahauddin, Faisalabad, Sargodha, and Nankana Sahib
Additional rainfall (18th/19th & 21st–23rd July) is likely in:
- Multan, D.G. Khan, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rahim Yar Khan, Lodhran, Rajanpur, Khanewal, Kot Addu

From 18th (night)/19th and 22nd–25th July, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in:
- Lasbela, Awaran, Khuzdar, Quetta, Zhob, Qilla Abdullah, Qilla Saifullah, Ziarat, Kalat, Loralai, Barkhan, Sherani, Musakhel
Severe Weather Warnings: Flash Floods, Urban Flooding & Landslides
The PMD has issued several warnings due to expected heavy rains:
Firstly, flash floods are likely in local streams/nullahs of Chitral, Swat, Shangla, Abbottabad, Kohistan, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, and northeast Punjab from 21st to 25th July.
Moreover, urban flooding is possible in low-lying areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Okara, Nowshera, and Peshawar.
Additionally, landslides and mudslides are expected in hilly regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Murree, Galliyat, Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, potentially causing road closures.
