US President Donald Trump has “chronic venous insufficiency,” the White House said after a medical examination of his swollen feet and bruised hands.
White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt told the media that it is a “common and common condition” in which damaged veins obstruct blood flow.
Caroline Levitt said that Trump’s personal physician said the condition is more common “in people over 70 years of age.”

Levitt confirmed all medical tests showed normal heart function, no disease, and no signs of kidney or systemic issues.
Levitt said his hand bruises came from frequent handshakes and aspirin use for standard heart disease prevention.
While not legally binding, it has become common practice for US presidents to have annual physicals and provide details of their health.
