Shefali was an amazing celebrity and her personal life wasn’t stressful either, at least apparently. Bollywood isn’t out of mourning yet as ‘Son of Sardar’ actor Mukul Dev passed away at the age of 54 on May 24, 2025.
The ‘Kanta Laga’ star had a huge following across the world. Shefali had 3.4 million followers on her Instagram and similar following was on threads, Facebook and YouTube. She would appear on reality shows, TV scripts, music videos and rarely upload on her own social handles as well. Well, it meant she was earning well and had relatively peaceful life at home with no clear differences with her spouse Parag Tyagi.
Shefali was in Perth, Australia just a few days back when she posted a video roaming around the city with casting director Farukh Shaikh and makeup artist Zaid Shiledar. It seems she is having a wonderful time as she roams around. And her comments had the hashtags: #dayoff #shoppingday #funtimes #ınstagood. Well, she was back in India a few days ago and very much doing all her performances. Interestingly, her last post was just 3 days ago where she was promoting Namrata Joshipura – a clothing brand.

Born on December 15, 1982 in Ahmedabad, India, Shefali had just turned 42. She would have turned 43 this year. She got married to Parag Tyagi in 2014. However, she did not have any children. The shocking news of her death came on the morning of June 28, 2025.

Well, Bollywood hasn’t forgotten the sudden departure of Sri Devi. She was a legendary star, super fit, with a healthy lifestyle. Yet, she had a sudden death on 28 February 2018. Initially, the news was shocking. However, it was revealed that the actress was taking multiple medications and supplements for managing her beauty care. Well, that took her life as these beauty conscious doctors often do not oversee the other indicators in the bodies.
Although, it is too early to state the exact reason of Shefali’s demise. It cannot be ruled out. Currently, the police is conducting the home search and investigating her house help. The initial reports also suggest that she was undergoing treatment for the last 6 years. Interestingly, she was part of Big Boss series as well. Around 7 stars in the Big Boss have seen a similar tragic end.

A recent study at Government Medical College Srinagar raised the issue of rising cases of diabetes and heart attacks among young people. It claims that the changing dietary habits, reduced physical activity, and rising obesity levels are the major culprits.
