Batting first, Quetta Gladiators set a competitive target of 202 runs, posting 201 for 9 in their allotted 20 overs. Hassan Nawaz played a standout innings, scoring 76 runs off 43 balls, which included 4 sixes and 8 fours. Other notable contributions came from Avishka Fernando (29), Faheem Ashraf (28), and both Rilee Rossouw and Dinesh Chandimal, who added 22 runs each.
In response, Lahore Qalandars chased down the target with just one ball to spare, losing only four wickets. The win marked a thrilling end to PSL 10 and sealed a memorable title for the Qalandars.
Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi led from the front with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 24 runs in his four overs. Haris Rauf and Salman Mirza grabbed 2 wickets each, while Sikandar Raza and Rashad Hussain took one apiece.
Speaking after the first innings, Quetta’s Hassan Nawaz said, “Our initial target was around 180 runs, but scoring over 200 gave us confidence. Our bowling is strong, and we were hopeful to defend the target.”
Earlier, Quetta Gladiators won the toss and elected to bat first. Their captain Saud Shakeel said they aimed to post a challenging total to put pressure on the opposition.
