In the first match of the 10th edition held at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Islamabad United successfully chased the target of 140 runs in 18 overs with the loss of just 2 wickets.
For United, Colin Munro scored 59* and Salman Agha remained unbeaten on 41. Sahibzada Farhan made 25, and Andre Gous was out for 4 runs.
From Lahore Qalandars, Asif Afridi and Haris Rauf took one wicket each.
Earlier, batting first on Islamabad United’s invitation, Lahore Qalandars were bowled out for 139 runs in 19.2 overs.
