Woman gang-raped during roadside robbery in Sheikhupura. A woman was gang-raped by a group of robbers at a sit-in set up to rob passers-by on the main Sheikhupura road in Sharaqpur.
An eyewitness told the police that 15 robbers robbed mobile phones and cash from more than 20 people over a period of three hours.
They also revealed that three robbers also gang-raped a woman after robbing her, adding that the victim returned to her house crying.
Punjab Police have launched a search operation in nearby gardens and fields to arrest the accused.
Last month, a shopkeeper in Shakargarh area allegedly raped a girl who had come to get her mobile phone repaired.
Police said the accused also made a video and extorted money from the victim for four months by threatening to share it on social media.
