Bushra Bibi booked in three separate cases over controversial statements. Bushra Bibi, the wife of PakistanTehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan, has been booked in three new cases registered in Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, and Rajanpur over a video statement.
The cases have been registered under Section 126 of the Telegraph Act of 1885 and other relevant laws for allegedly making inflammatory statements to incite hatred.
A citizen, named Ghulam Yaseen, filed a case against a former first lady at the Jamal Khan Police Station in Dera Ghazi Khan for alleged statements aimed at damaging relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia relation and contrary to the country’s foreign policy and public interest.
Additionally, Bushra Bibi was booked at the Muhammad Pur Gamwala Police Station in Rajanpur following a complaint filed by a person named Hakim.
Another case was registered under Section 129 of the Telegraph Act by Sohail Ashfaq at the City Police Station in the Layyah district.
It is important to note that in her statement, Bushra Bibi claimed that when Imran Khan walked barefoot in Madinah, former army chief Bajwa received calls saying, “Who are these religious extremists you are bringing?”
Following her claims regarding Saudi Arabia’s conspiracy to oust Imran Khan, PTI leaders distanced their selves, stating that, her personal views should not be considered as the party’s policy.
