Earlier this month, an officers of Punjab Police has made the name of Pakistan shine at the international level by winning international honour in policing services.
Two Pakistani female peacekeepers win UN Gender Advocacy Award. The United Nations have awarded two Pakistani female peacekeepers with Gender Advocacy Award in recognition for their outstanding performance.
They included Major Sania Safdar, served in UN Peacekeeping Mission Cyprus and Major Komal Masood served in Central African Republic.
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said both officers demonstrated exceptional professionalism, dedication and made significant contribution to the Mission’s peace and stability efforts especially with regards to advancing women’s meaningful participation in peacekeeping operations.
This recognition is a testament to the Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to the UN Peacekeeping mandate.

International Association of Women Police honoured Punjab Police SSP Riffat Bukhari with the Excellence in Performance Award at the 61st annual conference held in Chicago, USA. SSP Riffat Bukhari is currently serving in Punjab Safe Cities Authority.
