Mushaal criticized India’s recent demographic changes in the region, where outsiders have been unjustly granted domiciles to alter the identity of Kashmiris.
Mushaal calls for empowerment of refugees & denounces Indian Elections in IIOJK. Mushaal Hussein Mullick, wife of incarcerated Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, has called for the activation of a “base camp” and the empowerment of refugees in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) to strengthen their stance against Indian occupation. As the Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization, Mushaal chaired a Kashmir committee session, where she stressed the need for economic and social empowerment of refugees to break free from Indian dominance.
Mushaal also proposed that the AJK government launch an awareness campaign in every city of AJK to counter the upcoming Indian elections in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), labeling them as fraudulent. She criticized India’s recent demographic changes in the region, where outsiders have been unjustly granted domiciles to alter the identity of Kashmiris. Mushaal vowed that Kashmiris would refuse to recognize these settlers as part of their community.

She urged the need for a global campaign to expose what she described as the Indian government’s oppressive policies in Kashmir, expressing confidence that the people of the valley would soon achieve their right to self-determination.
The Chairman of the Kashmir Committee, present at the session, reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Kashmiri cause, calling on the international community to take action against the ongoing human rights violations in IIOJK.
