MUMBAI: Bollywood playback legend Kumar Sanu has denied the allegations of singing for former Prime Minister Imran Khan, here on Monday.
As per the details, on his Instagram, Kumar Sanu expressed his support for Imran Khan through a song to the rumor spread due to a fake news.
“I want to make it clear that I have never sung any song for the former Prime Minister of Pakistan,” Sanu asserted. He explained that the audio circulating on Facebook is not authentic. “The audio circulating on Facebook is not my voice — it’s generated using AI,” he clarified.
Sanu expressed his dismay at the spread of falsehoods over the misuse of his identity. “Some people are trying to defame me, and that’s why I want to tell my fans that this news is false, false!” In his post, he addressed his fans directly to clear any misunderstandings.
Highlighting the broader implications of the issue, Sanu called on the Indian government to take strict measures against the misuse of emerging technologies.

“This is a serious misuse of technology, and I request the Government of India to take immediate action to stop the misuse of AI and deepfake technology.”
