DPO Abbas said that there is no shortage of skills among women in tribal districts.
PESHAWAR: Taking a revolutionary step for the first time, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police has appointed four women Additional Station House Officers (SHOs) in four police stations of Khyber district.
District Police Officer (DPO) Salim Abbas Kulachi was of the view that the appointment of women additional SHOs was aimed at providing tribal women with easy access to justice.
He said that the appointment of women additional SHOs would encourage lakhs of tribal women to approach the police for justice.

DPO Abbas said that there is no shortage of skills among women in tribal districts. He said that providing the best environment to women police personnel is the top priority, so that they can perform their duties without any fear.
The DPO said that all the additional SHOs being localized would better address the problems of the women of the nation.
