RAWALPINDI: General Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) presided over the 265th Corps Commanders Conference (CCC), here on Friday at GHQ.
As per the details, the forum paid tribute to the great sacrifices of the armed forces, law enforcement agencies and martyrs who laid down their lives for peace and stability in the country.
The forum took a comprehensive review of the country’s internal and external security situation and discussed in detail various aspects of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, which aims to harness national efforts against terrorism in a coordinated manner. The forum noted with concern the unwarranted criticism and deliberate misrepresentation of the vision by some quarters only to advance their vested interests.

The forum emphasized that politically motivated digital terrorist attacks, launched by conspirators, against state institutions by their foreign groups are aimed at spreading disillusionment in the nation and outright lies, fakes. However, the armed forces are fully aware of all such conspiracies along with the nation and are united and determined to thwart the nefarious intentions of Pakistan’s enemies.

Expressing full satisfaction with the Army’s commitment to national security, the COAS emphasized on maintaining high standards of professionalism and operational readiness. In conclusion, the COAS remarked that the Pakistan Army has always been fully prepared to defeat all internal and external challenges and play its role in the stability and prosperity of Pakistan, whatever the challenges may be.
