Tragic Gas Explosions in Rawalpindi Claim Lives of Two Children and Injure Many
Three consecutive gas explosions occurred in different areas of Rawalpindi, resulting in the tragic loss of two children’s lives and multiple injuries to several individuals.
According to reports from private television channels, the first explosion occurred in a house in Bhabara Bazaar due to a gas leak, leading to a fire that claimed the lives of two children. Rescue officials revealed that gas had accumulated in the room, and the explosion occurred when the electricity switch was turned on.
The victims, identified as Ayat Fatima and Arham, succumbed to the fire caused by the explosion. The mother of the children also sustained 50% burns due to the fire and was transferred to Benazir Bhutto Hospital in critical condition.
The second explosion occurred in the Ariya Mohallah area, resulting in burns to five individuals due to the outbreak of fire. Rescue officials promptly shifted all injured persons to Benazir Bhutto Hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment. The injured individuals have been identified as Intezar, Riaz Ahmed, Parveen, 26-year-old Amberin, and 15-year-old Amber.

The third explosion took place in a house in Tench Abadi No. 2, causing injuries to two individuals due to a fire outbreak. The injured persons, identified as Abdullah and Hassan, are among those receiving medical treatment.
Despite the tragic incidents, prompt action by rescue teams and medical personnel has ensured that all injured individuals are receiving necessary medical care, and their conditions are reported to be stable.
