PM Kakar & COAS Visit AJK Condemn Indian Actions in IIOJK. In a powerful display of solidarity with Kashmiris, Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJ&K), and General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), visited Muzaffarabad. The COAS later proceeded to the front lines along the Line of Control (LOC) in the Sarian Sector.
At the Jammu and Kashmir Monument in Muzaffarabad, the distinguished leaders laid floral wreaths at the Martyrs’ Monument, paying heartfelt tributes to the supreme sacrifices of the Shuhada.
Acknowledging the extraordinary fortitude and unwavering faith of Kashmiris amidst the brutalities of Indian occupation forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the leadership emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering support for Kashmiris’ just struggle for the inalienable right to self-determination, as per UN Security Council resolutions.
The leaders condemned India’s attempts to alter the demography of IIOJK through illegal administrative measures and draconian laws, affirming that such actions cannot suppress the Kashmiri people’s legitimate aspirations.
COAS received a comprehensive briefing on the latest situation along the LOC and lauded the troops’ operational readiness and effective response to Indian ceasefire violations.
Addressing the troops, COAS reiterated Pakistan’s firm resolve to respond with full national unity and military strength to any aggression or violation of its territorial sovereignty.

Highlighting India’s state-sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, which has extended to heinous targeting of individual Pakistani citizens, COAS underscored Pakistan’s commitment to expose such violations and ensure the security of its citizens. He noted that India’s disregard for international law and norms has drawn condemnation from numerous countries, exposing its hypocritical stance.
The COAS’s visit was marked by a reception from the Commander Rawalpindi Corps, reflecting the unity and determination of Pakistan’s military leadership in safeguarding the nation’s interests and supporting the just cause of Kashmiris.
