The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the inhumane killing of nine Pakistanis in Iran.
Pakistan Condemns Killing of 9 Pakistanis in Iran. Ministry spokesperson Muntaz Zahra Baloch stated in a weekly media briefing that Pakistani authorities are in contact with relevant Iranian officials. The bodies of the nine Pakistani citizens, who were killed in Iran, have been repatriated to Pakistan.
It is expected that upon completion of investigations, Iranian authorities will share details of the incident with Pakistani officials.
The spokesperson highlighted that Pakistan has raised concerns over India’s violations of international laws and the UN Charter. Last week, evidence was presented by the Foreign Secretary regarding the involvement of Indian citizens in targeted killings of Pakistani nationals. India must be held accountable for its violations of international laws.
Furthermore, February 5 will be observed as Kashmir Solidarity Day in Pakistan. It is a day to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiri people living under India’s illegal occupation in Jammu and Kashmir.
The spokesperson expressed Pakistan’s deep concern over the Israeli military aggression in Gaza and the decision of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees (UNRWA) to suspend funding for Palestinian refugees in Gaza. Pakistan demands immediate cessation of hostilities in Gaza.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi is currently in Brussels to participate in the third European Union-Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum. Minister Qureshi has held bilateral meetings with European Union officials in Brussels. Tomorrow, he will attend the third European Union-Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum meeting.
The spokesperson further stated that Iranian Foreign Minister visited Pakistan on January 29 upon the invitation of Foreign Minister Qureshi. During the visit, the Iranian Foreign Minister held meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan, Foreign Minister Qureshi, and the Chief of Army Staff.
