Multiple blasts in Balochistan: 4 injured. At least four persons were injured on Thursday as multiple blasts were reported in different parts of Balochistan including the provincial capital Quetta.
At least four people were injured when a cracker went off in Balochistan’s Jaffarabad on Thursday, police said.
They added that the blast occurred near a hotel, which is close to the National Highway.
The incident comes on the heels of a blast near the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s rally in Balochistan’s Sibi on Tuesday. It killed four people and wounded six.
In the second explosion in Quetta, the explosion took place in the Spinny Road area.
Police have cordoned off the area and are ascertaining the nature of the blast.
The multiple blasts in Balochistan have created panic while the police is still trying to ascertain the natures of the blast.

A sudden spurt in violence — just eight days before the general elections — also saw a grenade attack on the election campaign office of PPP candidate, Ali Madad Jatak, on Quetta’s Sariab Road. A similar grenade attack was carried out at the residence of another PPP candidate, Mir Zahoor Buledi, in Kech district of Balochistan.
A day earlier, a bomb blast on a main road in Balochistan’s Sibi during an election rally led by Saddam Tareen, a PTI-affiliated independent candidate for NA-253 (Ziarat) constituency, leaving at least four people dead and five others injured.
