Former PM filed petition in SC against the ruling of IHC.
ISLAMABAD: Former PM and Senator Yousaf Raza Gillani challenged the results of election of chairman Senate in Supreme Court.
Gillani filed the petition in Supreme Court against the ruling of Islamabad High Court (IHC).
He pleaded the SC to reject the verdict of IHC.

In his petition, the former prime minister claimed that the ruling of IHC is against the law and facts.
The petition also added that the ruling of IHC is against the verdict and decided parameters in Deputy Speaker s ruling.
As per petition, Gillani won the Senate Election and the presiding officer dishonestly rejected 7 votes in his favour.
