General Rowaili praised Pakistan’s support and cooperation in various fields
Saudi Army Chief Visits Pakistan to Strengthen Military Ties. General Fayyadh Bin Hameed Al Rowaili, Chief of General Staff of the Saudi Armed Forces, visited Pakistan today and met with General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of the Pakistan Army, at the General Headquarters.
During their meeting, both leaders discussed ways to strengthen the long-standing and strategic military cooperation between the two countries. They highlighted the importance of working together on defence, security, and counter-terrorism efforts, which have always been key pillars of their relationship.
Gen Rowaili praised Pakistan’s support and cooperation in various fields and expressed his commitment to further deepen the military partnership between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.
On arrival, General Rowaili laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada to honor the martyrs and was welcomed with a Guard of Honour by the Pakistan Army.
It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia had signed a historic defence deal. Pakistan is now preparing to double its labor exports to Saudi Arabia following a landmark defence agreement that is expected to strengthen both security and economic ties between the two countries.
