Three Terrorists Killed in Foiled Attack in Peshawar. The attack on the Federal Constabulary headquarters near Saddar in Peshawar has been foiled by killing the three terrorists.
According to security sources, Fitna-ul-Khawarij carried out two suicide attacks on the FC headquarters, killing three FC personnel and injuring four others.
Speaking to Hum News, IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed said that the terrorists detonated one suicide bomb at the gate of the headquarters and the other at a motorcycle stand.
He said that as soon as the first blast took place, the terrorists tried to enter the headquarters, but the police and FC commandos responded with full force and killed the three attackers. Two suicide jackets and eight hand grenades were recovered from their possession.
Security forces officials say that the attack was well-planned, but it was foiled by the action of the security forces.

Martyrs
Havaldar Alamzeb of FC Platoon 277, Sepoy Riyataz of Platoon 478, and Sepoy Altaf of Platoon 277 were martyred in the attack.
The injured personnel include Lance Naik Zak of Platoon 277, Sepoy Arshad, Sepoy Attaullah, and Sepoy Irfan, who are undergoing treatment at Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar.
In addition, 6 civilians were also brought to Lady Reading Hospital in critical condition. The condition of all the injured is being described as out of danger.
After the explosion, Sunehri Road was closed and traffic was diverted towards Saddar Road, while BRT service was also suspended.
According to the residents of the area, the explosion took place near FC Chowk and the sounds of firing were also coming from the same area. The explosion was so intense that the windows of nearby buildings were also broken.
After the attack, a clearance operation was carried out against the attackers by surrounding the area.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the terrorist attack on the FC headquarters and said that the timely action of the security forces saved a major loss.
He directed to provide immediate medical assistance to the injured and said that those responsible for the incident will be identified soon and brought to justice.
