Pakistani Forces Kill 8 Indian-Sponsored Militants in KP. Pakistani Security forces launched a joint, intelligence-based operation in Bannu District following reports of Khwarij activity in the area, marking another significant blow against terrorism.
During a fierce operation, security forces struck a Khwarij hideout, killing eight militants affiliated with the Indian-backed group Fitna Al Khwarij. A cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the site. These terrorists were reportedly involved in attacks against security forces, law enforcement officials, and civilians.
In June 2025, Pak Army Major and another solider had martyred, while 11 Khwarij killed in Waziristan Operation.
The operation shows heightened coordination and collaboration between security agencies in Pakistan. Strategically planned and executed, these operations aim to cripple Khwarij movement, dismantle their support structures, and prevent them from reorganizing. Early results point to significant progress in restoring peace and stability to the region.
Authorities have launched a full-area cleansing operation to ensure no Indian-backed Khwarij remain in Bannu. This marks another achievement in the relentless counter-terrorism drive under the federal “Azm-e-Istehkam” program, approved by the Federal Apex body on the National Action Plan.
