The Kohat–Mazar-e-Sharif Railway Project is more than a transport link. It reflects Pakistan’s growing demand for safety, care, and dignity. That vision is embodied by Mohafiz and Mohsyn, platforms built to protect lives and support families both at home and abroad.
A Personal Story Behind Mohafiz
Mohafiz started in 2015. The idea came from tragedy but carried a vision: create one trusted way to access help anytime, anywhere.
In the How Does It Work podcast by ProPakistani, founder Fahad Mahmood Khan explained the origins. His son studied at an army school, but after a tragic event, he moved him to a private one. Still, he could not ignore a haunting thought: what about the children left behind? That question pushed him to act. Mohafiz became his answer—an emergency lifeline for everyone.

Building Dignity Into Emergency Response
From the beginning, Mohafiz stood for dignity and trust. Its purpose was not only to connect victims with responders but to ensure someone always answered the call. Law enforcement agencies soon partnered with it, and together they managed over 55,000 incidents.
Companies also took notice. SWVL named Mohafiz its security and crisis partner. Soon, BusCaro, Daraz, Bazaar, Careem, PostEx, ezBike, Rider, and Zaraye joined the list. Through Mohafiz Secure, the platform expanded into corporate services such as anti-fraud and anti-illicit trade solutions, strengthening Pakistan’s business sector.
Expanding Into Overseas Family Care
As clients moved abroad, they raised new concerns: who would care for their families and homes in Pakistan? This question led to Mohsyn, a concierge service powered by Mohafiz’s crisis-response model.
Mohsyn supports overseas Pakistanis by looking after their parents, elders, and properties. Its services include grocery delivery, medicines, repairs, companionship visits, transport, medical support, and help with government paperwork like NADRA attestations.

Families stay connected through a 24/7 WhatsApp group, which works as a lifeline across time zones. Mohsyn’s Complete Care Plan starts at $99.99 monthly or $999.99 yearly. It covers daily check-ins, vetted caregivers, errands, medical coordination, logistics, and live updates.
Clients often call it peace of mind from abroad. In one case, urgent asthma medicine reached a family in Nathia Gali within minutes.

Preparing the Next Generation
Alongside these services, Mohafiz Junior builds future-ready families and schools. Teachers get certified training to handle emergencies. Students attend workshops on first aid, leadership, mental health, and sustainability.
So far, more than 2,200 people have been trained, while MJ Magazine continues to inspire students beyond classrooms.
Reach, Scale, and Numbers
Together, Mohafiz and Mohsyn now form a powerful safety ecosystem:
- 24/7 operations in 361 Pakistani cities
- Field offices in five major hubs
- Expansion to Egypt, Kenya, and Argentina
- Over 15,000 lives saved
- More than 4,500 women protected
- A 17,000-strong volunteer network nationwide
A Harsh Truth About Recognition
On the podcast, Khan highlighted a tough reality. “Many hardworking people bring real convenience to lives here. If they had done the same abroad, they would be rewarded. In Pakistan, they often go unnoticed.”

For him, recognition does not come from headlines. It comes from families, schools, and corporates who rely on Mohafiz and Mohsyn daily. “Our brand is celebrated by the people we work for,” he stressed.
Looking Ahead
From a one-button emergency app to a global family-care and safety network, Mohafiz and Mohsyn remain true to their mission: protecting lives and caring for families.
They coordinate blood donations, handle crises, manage properties, care for parents, and prepare students for the future. In a country where uncertainty is constant, they deliver dignity, compassion, and quick action.
Like the Kohat–Mazar-e-Sharif Railway Project connects regions, Mohafiz and Mohsyn connect people to safety and peace of mind—across generations, at home and abroad.
