Prize bonds have long been a popular choice for millions of Pakistanis, offering a secure and government-backed way to save money.

Rs750 Prize Bond Latest Result July 2025. The National Savings Centre in Rawalpindi on Tuesday announced the results of the Rs750 prize bond draw held for the month of July 2025, declaring the winning numbers for the first and second prizes.

According to officials, the draw was conducted at 10:00am and saw prize bond number 953346 claim the first prize of Rs1.5 million. The second prize, amounting to Rs500,000 each, was awarded to three bondholders bearing numbers 294897, 651248, and 965105.

The complete list of winners, including the third prize category, is expected to be released later by the Directorate of National Savings on its website.

The Rs750 prize bond is one of the most widely held denominations in Pakistan, with thousands of citizens across the country participating in regular quarterly draws.

Tax on prize money increased

Meanwhile, the federal government has notified revised tax rates on prize bond winnings. According to the latest notification issued by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), filers will now be subject to a 15% withholding tax on any prize bond earnings.

However, non-filers — individuals who are not registered with the tax system — will face a significantly higher deduction of 30% on their winnings.

The move is part of broader fiscal reforms aimed at increasing documentation and encouraging tax compliance. Experts say the increased tax burden on non-filers is likely to discourage informal economic activity and push more citizens towards registering with the tax authority.

The draw attracted widespread participation, with bondholders from across the country eagerly awaiting the results, which offer not only a chance for substantial cash prizes but also a safe investment option.

Prize bond as popular investment choice

Prize bonds have long been a popular choice for millions of Pakistanis, offering a secure and government-backed way to save money.

Managed by the CDNS since the 1960s in collaboration with the central bank, the scheme allows citizens to protect their funds from inflation and devaluation, with the added allure of winning large prizes. Prize bonds are available in denominations ranging from Rs100 to Rs40,000, giving investors flexibility based on their preferences and financial capacity.

The balloting for the Rs750 prize bond, held at the National Savings Centre in Peshawar, marks one of the quarterly draws that have become a fixture in Pakistan’s financial landscape. These draws are highly anticipated events, with the CDNS ensuring transparency and fairness in the selection process.

Since its inception, the prize bond system has been instrumental in raising funds for the government while offering a risk-free investment opportunity for the public.

The bonds are considered “bearer instruments,” meaning they can be transferred easily without registration, making them even more accessible for individuals across Pakistan. Despite their popularity, the government has introduced new measures to curb misuse and ensure greater transparency in the prize bond system.
