“In mourning, we stand as one human family. In compassion, we find our shared strength”, she said.
Mushaal Extends Deep Sympathies Over Air India Flight Tragedy. Mushaal Hussein Mullick, Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organisation and wife of jailed Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, has expressed profound grief over the tragic loss of lives in the recent Air India plane crash near Ahmedabad.
In a heartfelt message of condolence, she stated:
“My heart aches beyond words at the tragic loss of so many precious lives in the Air India plane crash. Each soul lost was someone’s entire world — a beloved parent, child, friend, or partner. To the grieving families, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers during this unimaginably painful time.”
Mushaal emphasized the universality of human suffering, noting that while Kashmir continues to face violence, including recent airstrikes and the prolonged unlawful detention of her husband, tragedies such as this transcend borders and politics.
“This tragedy comes even as we in Kashmir continue to suffer from violence and oppression. Yet in this moment of shared sorrow, I am reminded that pain knows no borders. Whether caused by accidents of fate or acts of aggression, suffering unites us in our common humanity.”
She extended her deepest sympathies to the families affected, and urged reflection on the fragility of life and the urgent need for peace, justice, and dignity for all.
“I deeply regret this terrible aviation disaster and the void it has left in countless lives. May God grant patience to the bereaved families and eternal peace to those who perished. Let this tragedy remind us all that life is fragile, and that lasting peace can only be built on justice, mutual understanding, and respect for human dignity.”
