Bilawal vows to uphold Benazir Bhutto’s legacy of tolerance & inclusivity. Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, addressed a massive rally in Sahiwal, urging the public to vote for the symbol of the “Sher” (Lion) if they seek a return to traditional politics. Simultaneously, he encouraged those yearning for new leadership to cast their vote for the “Teer” (Arrow), symbolizing change. Bilawal emphasized his commitment to ending the politics of hatred and division during the upcoming elections.

Speaking to the crowd, Bilawal expressed gratitude for the warm reception received in Sahiwal and reiterated his commitment to touring the entire country with his party manifesto. He mentioned addressing a rally in Lahore the day before and underscored the importance of connecting with the people in Sahiwal.

Bilawal Bhutto highlighted the challenges Pakistan is currently facing, asserting that the PPP is the only party equipped to address all issues comprehensively. He addressed the rising issues of inflation, poverty, and unemployment, pointing out the growing societal divisions.

The PPP Chairman condemned the politics of division and animosity, emphasizing that continued internal strife would only benefit the country’s adversaries. He declared that his mission in the current elections is to bury the hatchet of hatred and division.

Bilawal Bhutto pledged to continue the legacy of his mother, the late Benazir Bhutto, stating that their party’s manifesto does not include the propagation of insults and hatred.

He announced initiatives aimed at uplifting various sections of society, including the Benazir Mazdoor Card for laborers, the Youth Card for the youth, and the establishment of free healthcare facilities in each district. Bhutto Zardari also assured the residents of Sahiwal of the implementation of the Benazir Kisan Card, aimed at improving the conditions of farmers.

The former Foreign Minister highlighted the need to discontinue subsidies to the fertilizer industry, redirecting those funds to provide subsidies directly to farmers. Bilawal Bhutto underscored his commitment to creating universities in every district, emphasizing that these key points are part of his 10-point agenda.

In a passionate address, Bilawal Bhutto asserted that he does not seek power four times but rather one opportunity to transform the fate of the country. He emphasized that there are now only two choices in the upcoming elections – revenge and the old politics symbolized by the “Sher,” or the need for new leadership represented by the “Teer.”

Bilawal concluded by vowing to fulfill the incomplete mission of his father, the late Benazir Bhutto, and the vision of the founding leader of the PPP, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
