China Commends Pakistan’s Efforts for Regional Peace & CPEC Security. China’s Vice Foreign Minister, Sun Weidong, expressed acknowledgment and satisfaction over Pakistan’s dedication to regional peace and security arrangements for the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir at General Headquarters (GHQ). The meeting focused on mutual interests and ways to enhance bilateral defense cooperation.
Vice FM Sun Weidong hailed the longstanding strategic partnership between China and Pakistan and recognized Pakistan’s contributions to regional stability. He conveyed China’s contentment with the security measures in place for CPEC projects.
In response, General Munir appreciated the warm sentiments expressed by the Chinese official and emphasized that the strong ties between the two countries were rooted in a shared vision of regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
