However, the reason for the current outage is unknown as yet. There is no official word on why the internet isn’t working in different cities across Pakistan. It is also interesting that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced launch of 5G satellite internet just two days ago. However, the PTA is unable to continue the regular internet service to the citizenry despite a huge budgetary chunk available to it.
As Internet Outage is Reported Across Pakistan. Some analysts claim that PTA is engaged in restoring internet services in flood hit regions in the country’s north. Thus, the analysts claim that it might be one of the reasons for the current outage as well. However, the official word from PTA is yet to arrive to share the reason for current internet outage in Pakistan.
