School Timings for Ramadan 2025 Announced in Pakistan. The education authorities of Pakistan have released a new timing regime for schools during Ramadan 2025 to give ease to students and teachers observing fasts without hampering educational activities.
In Punjab, regular schools will operate from 8:30 AM to 1 PM on weekdays, with classes on Fridays to finish by 12:30 PM. Double shift schools will open for the morning session from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM, and from 1 PM to 4 PM for the afternoon shift, with timing adjustments for Fridays.
In Sindh, based on educational levels, school timings during Ramadan differ. Single-shift primary schools will operate from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM, while double-shift primary schools will open from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM for the morning shift and from 11:45 AM to 2:45 PM for the afternoon shift.
Secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools will follow the same Ramadan timing schedule in Sindh.
School authorities are instructed to adopt the new timings right from the commencement of Ramadan. Parents and students may further inquiry from their specific school administration or provincial education department websites.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission SPARCO records forecasted Ramadan beginning in Pakistan on March 2nd, 2025.
SPARCO noted that on February 28, 2025, the moon will be born but that its visibility would be quite problematic because of low altitude and distance. A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will also be held on February 28 to announce the final decision regarding the sighting of the Ramadan moon.
