ISLAMABAD: Imran Khan, founder of Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), made significant remarks from Adiala Jail, criticizing what he described as an establishment-led government and advocating for transparent elections to save Pakistan.
Speaking to journalists, Khan emphasized the necessity of fair elections for the country’s stability, questioning the legitimacy of trials of civilians in military courts under the current governance. He lamented the loss of hope in the present government and alleged historical election rigging.
Highlighting concerns over judicial processes, Khan expressed dissatisfaction with the handling of petitions and human rights issues in the Supreme Court, particularly questioning the delay in addressing intra-party election matters despite the challenges faced by PTI.
