Qureshi’s counsel, Barrister Taimur Malik, has confirmed that the ATC Lahore judges will hear the cases of May 9 in the Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore today.
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has been transferred from Adiala Jail Islamabad to Kot Lakhpat Jail Lahore.
Qureshi was transferred to Lahore in the morning under strict security.
According to jail sources, the PTI leader has been transferred from Rawalpindi to Lahore because he is scheduled to be produced in Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore today.
There are multiple cases against Qureshi in Lahore with regards to May 9 events. Qureshi has also been interrogated in Adiala Jail in May 9 cases.
