In 2019, media reports about their marriage captured headlines. Although they neither confirmed nor denied these reports, they appeared together at various events, including Nida Yasir’s brother’s wedding.
Recently, Bushra Ansari shared a vlog on her YouTube channel discussing her second marriage with Iqbal Hussain. She introduced her husband to her YouTube family, who had expressed concern about her loneliness. Bushra Ansari and Iqbal Hussain also addressed a stigma in Eastern society, where marrying an elderly lady is viewed as a crime.
Talking about it, Bushra Ansari said, “Marrying Iqbal Hussain was a difficult decision, although, I was divorced but I never announced it, Iqbal Hussain proposed to me when we were shooting for Seeta Bhagri, he said, ‘we both live alone, so, we should get married’, I took one and a half year to think about marriage that too with someone younger to me. Although, he got divorced way earlier than me”.

Iqbal Hussain also said, “I thank Bushra Ansari’s family and friends who supported me in this decision and convinced her because Bushra wasn’t agreeing to it and they made it happen, Sumbul Apa, Neelum Aapa, Asma Abbas’s husband, they all helped us a lot. Bushra Ansari also added that Rubina Ashraf, Behroze Sabzwari, Badar Khalil, Sultana Siddiqui, and all her friends supported their decision. The couple also informed that their kids are abroad and are happy on their parent’s decision to move on in life.”
