Cabinet Allocation Decision: Who Gets Which Ministry? In a momentous decision reflecting inclusivity and unity, the federal government of Pakistan has announced the inclusion of members from opposition parties in the upcoming federal cabinet.

Following extensive consultations and deliberations, it has been decided that Asif Zardari will be appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, while Azam Tarar will take charge of the Ministry of Law and Ataullah Tarar will be assigned the Ministry of Information.

Additionally, there is a possibility of Abdul Aleem Khan from the Istehkam-e-Pakistan (IIP) being included in the new cabinet. During the consultations, it was decided that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will also be allocated two ministries in the federal cabinet.

Khawaja Asif is slated to take on the role of Minister of Defense, while Masood Malik will be entrusted with the Ministry of Petroleum. Furthermore, Amir Maqam is expected to join the cabinet as well.

In a move aimed at enhancing diversity and representation, Shazia Fatima Khawaja will oversee the Ministry of Information and Technology, Mohammad Aurangzeb will be responsible for the Ministry of Finance, and former Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi will take charge of the Ministry of Interior.

Tariq Fatemi has been appointed as Special Assistant for Foreign Affairs, while Ahad Cheema will serve as Advisor for Establishment. Additionally, Jam Kamal and Chaudhry Salik will also be part of the federal cabinet.

The swearing-in ceremony for the new federal cabinet is expected to take place on Monday, signifying a momentous step towards national unity and collaboration in Pakistan’s political landscape.
