In a significant development, Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb of the Islamabad High Court has allowed a meeting and consultation between the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Barrister Gohar, and other lawyers with the founder of PTI.
The request, presented by Chairman PTI and other lawyers, sought permission from the court for a meeting and consultation with the founder of PTI, aiming for discussions to include consultations with former Prime Minister.
The court, while addressing the matter, emphasized the fundamental right to seek consultation for electoral matters. Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurangzeb expressed concerns about the alarming system under the caretaker government, emphasizing the need for non-partisanship during the elections.
During the proceedings, the court issued an order for a meeting between the founder of PTI and Chairman PTI to be supervised by the Superintendent of Adiala Jail. The court remarked that consultation for elections is a fundamental right, and the caretaker government should be impartial.

Later, the Islamabad High Court granted permission for the consultation requested by Chairman PTI and other lawyers with the founder of PTI.
