Prominent Figures from Balochistan Join PPP in Meeting with Asif Ali Zardari
Former CM Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Joins PPP. In a significant political development, several influential figures from Balochistan, including former Chief Minister Abdul Qudous Bizenjo, have joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP).
The decision was made during a meeting with PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in Lahore. Among the notable individuals who joined PPP are former Balochistan minister Sikandar Imrani, Syed Nizamuddin, Syed Hameed, Naseer Ahmed Bizenjo, Mir Abdul Wahab Bizenjo, Mir Hamoodur Rahman, and Mir Shafiqur Rahman, sons of former Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Nasir Mengal.
This comes on the heels of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif securing support from numerous influential figures in Balochistan last month, including former Chief Minister Jam Kamal. Other significant personalities joining PML-N included Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Muhammad Khan Lehri, Mir Ghafoor Lehri, Noor Muhammad Dumar, Toor Uthmankhail, Sardar Masood Luni, Sardar Fateh Muhammad Hassani, Mir Mujeeb ur Rehman Muhammad Hassani, Saleem Khan Khoso, Mir Shoaib Nowsherwani, Dostain Khan Domki, and Rameen Muhammad Hassani.

Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo is a Pakistani politician who served as the Chief Minister of Balochistan province of Pakistan from 29 October 2021 till 18 August 2023. He was a member of the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan. He was the former Party President of the Balochistan Awami Party.
